Since the Flex 5000a cw goes thru a computer there will always be a
delay. For me this makes the Flex internal cw keyer unusable. Many here
will tell you they can get the delay to a minimum, but for me ANY delay
makes it impossible to send good code. I use a Logikey K-5 external

The CW issue with the 5000A does the delay occur using an external
keyer? I am not yet an owner but contemplating the Flex option. I am
yet to see a youtube of the flex transmit CW, all video of the flex is
on RX. I am primarily a CW op but only at speeds of around 18 to 25wpm.
