Eric and
others,
no problem to assemble the kit. It's working
great - hum is reduced significantly. I am using the 2 jumpers for the
speaker ground-line only. The break out box now is a nice boat anchor (for
smaller ships).

Eric,
I just finished putting the interface kit together - it was a breeze
to assemble and it works great. With the
standard D-44 box, anytime I touched my desk lamp near my radio I got a
60 cycle hum in the
radio audio. With the interface kit the problem is gone.
