For optimum results using Heil or other low or unity gain microphones with the SDR-1000 use the following settings [Tested using a Heil HM5,Goldline, PR20, 30, & 40 ] Mic 65 Leveler 15 D44 hardware INS 3 -10db The CPDR with a level 2 setting makes the audio sound louder. John P. Basilotto W5G
