I have a Star Tech 3 port 1394/a/b Firewire card which is surplus to my
needs. It is N.I.B, I couldn't use it because its pinout was not compatible
with my motherboard. It includes the card, a 1394b 9-6 pin cable, a video
editing CD, a driver CD, and the user's manual. NewEgg is selling these
good to have a catalogue of compatible cards.

In the current FW driver you will find a good place to check if the FW
card is compatible with the driver.
Open the 3.5.0.7171 driver go to System, then additional info => Scan
Now.Read the listing, toward the bottom, it will say if it is
compatible with the current driver.
