I Hooked up the F3K tonight and found that it is astounding! It appears to be equal to the F5K in my eyes; howeer, the F5K has a built in antenna configuratin system that the F3K does not have. The instructions that come with the radio are very clear and it was a simple process to get it running.....took about 15 minutes. This is the radio that I am taking with me to Bequia in January (where I will be operating as J8K2CM). The P/S is the Samlex SEC1235 (120/220v). I am using a Dell Inspiron E1505 Laptop to run the software. I have had an occasional problem with Power SDR stopping on the Laptop...probably due to a lot of miscellaneous processes running in the background. I will be cleaning up the process queue and hopefully that will fix the issue.
