I Hooked up the F3K tonight and found that it is astounding!  It appears to be 
equal to the F5K in my eyes; howeer, the F5K has a built in antenna 
configuratin system that the F3K does not have.  The instructions that come 
with the radio are very clear and it was a simple process to get it 
running.....took about 15 minutes.
 
This is the radio that I am taking with me to Bequia in January (where I will 
be operating as J8K2CM).  The P/S is the Samlex SEC1235 (120/220v).
 
I am using a Dell Inspiron E1505 Laptop to run the software.  I have had an 
occasional problem with Power SDR stopping on the Laptop...probably due to a 
lot of miscellaneous processes running in the background.  I will be cleaning 
up the process queue and hopefully that will fix the issue.
