Is anyone else having this issue? Even with a fairly strong signal I get a lot of gibberish in the decode.
In the past even weak signals would decode very well but no longer. I remember working a South Korea station a few months back that I could barely hear but Skimmer had near perfect copy. This is what I am seeing. http://www.flickr.com/photos/10025089@N05/6082748733/in/photostream If the image is small click on it for a bigger version. This morning, I was on 17 mtrs and I could visually decipher the code quite clearly but Skimmer was having difficulties. I may be wrong, but Skimmer seemed much more responsive prior to this latest PSDR update. Feel free to post my comment. Don't give up - I posted last month a choppy cw issue I was having with N1MM and recv'd no responses. I reposted 2 weeks later and had several suggestions that corrected the problem. I am now sending 30wpm flawlessly with N1MM and even my paddles sound much better with PSDR. Have not gotten any other replies. Is it ok if I repost your email to the reflector? Is this what you Skimmer looks like? You are not alone - I too think something is amiss with the last update with regards to CW Skimmer decoding. Funny, I was just thinking about this the other day and then I saw your post on the reflector. Have you recv'd any helpful suggestions?
