Have a brand new 1500. I downloaded the software from the site...the
latest... proceeded to set up the 1500 went thru step 1 then step 2.
everything went as shown on the quick start guide. Went to step 3 ,powered on
the 1500 as directed , waited ,nothing further happens. Thought maybe I had a
bad download,so went to the cd ROM supplied with the new 1500. Cleaned any and
all flex radio software,files etc from the computer. Ran the cd 2.0.19 the
same thing repeated itself ,went to step 3 ,nothing.
The computer has a fresh install of XP- sp2 on it. It is a P-4 3.0
with 2 gig of ram. What am I missing here? The same computer, ran the first
1500 ,just fine that I got when they first came out. There is nothing on the
computer except XP , no virus stuff ,dedicated to the flex only.
I doubt this is a software problem,after trying 2 versions,with the same
result. Is there something maybe missing from the fresh install? OR do I
have a hardware problem with the new 1500?
sure could use some input at this point.
