I have had luck with 2:
- SIIG FireWire 2-Port PCIe Model NN-E20012-S2 (+- $50)
- SYBA SD-PEX30009 (+- $45)
The Syba card has 2 1394B ports and 1 1394A port. I have been using the
1394A port in my testing and it works like a champ. One reason I like the
Syba is that it has a 1394A header on it so

This seems to be alittle bit of a moving target. The suppliers of FW cards
maybe transitioning to different chips and new brand names seem to be
popping up. Here are several that have worked well in the past for folks.
