I think they have, the knowlegebase on 3rd party addons has a number of howto's! I've owned quite a few different radios over the years. I can't remember one that had built in buttons, switches, or links (they were before the 'link' era) to other programs and/or devices by 3rd party sources. In fact Flex is the only one I've ever seen that has so many extensive articles on how to use 3rd party offerings. I frequently use the 'dataimport' the 'profiler', the 'downloader' these 3 sure make setup/changes easy. microHAM does offer extensive instructions on connections/setups of it's product to radios. But that's a different issue. Would I like to see a totally integrated VAC in PWSDR, probably. Would I like to see a totally integrated customizeable comport system in PWSDR, probably. But that could make updates tougher, although PWSDR maybe could implement them as download/upgradeable modules.
