Dear Flexers,

I thought it would be in order to give the reason for updating the
calibration of RX2 after installation of the new firmware/PowerSDR update.
We made an improvement in the accuracy of the local oscillator (DDS)
quadrature phase setting on RX2 with this release. Because of this change,
it is necessary to run the RX2 calibration as Dudley noted. There is no
change to RX1.

Note that this firmware release also improves CW transmit to receive
recovery by turning off the transmitter local oscillator when in receive
mode. Beta testers have reported significant improvement in this area.

Regards,

Gerald

If you have a second receiver installed, you should re-run the RX level
calibrations after loading PowerSDR 1.16.1 (Ctrl - Shift - R) just the
"Level" and "Image" test.. I did notice that you should reboot the
computer and power down the radio and back up before running the tests..
