On my new laptop I am now using the USB adapter. It is constantly timing out?
I went into device manager and into USB Root Hub then to power mgt and
unchecked the box on each. But I am still timing out?
Where else should I look? Thanks

Are you using a HUB with the laptop?? Hubs are famous for causing
devices to time out..
Also check your power settings for the laptop.Turn off Intel
SpeedStep if it is enabled..
