Several months ago, during the Central States VHF Conference I agreed to
take on the project which had been started in early 2005.
At this time I have just ordered the Alpha Prototype boards and
anticipate that all will be well and I can begin ordering parts for the
UCB kit.

Tony did a great job with the PIC in the original UCB, however when I picked
up the work, the PIC selected was obsolete. Microchip stepped in and
provided a replacement, but in the intervening time the team
