For KD4JRX,

When setting up VAC, it's important to remember:

You need TWO VAC's set up in the software control panel - one for transmit, one
for receive. These must match up with the appropriate input/output lines in
PowerSDR (Setup, Audio tab, VAC1).

VAC2 in PowerSDR is not used in the Flex 1500 series.

To transmit, you'll also need a PTT line - typically done with a serial
control, like VSPManager. If you press MOX when your software is
"transmitting", do you get output? That's a good test for your VAC
configuration.

Finally, yeah, you really must buy the VAC license. It's well worth it. Having
a periodic voice stamp in your audio, transmit or receive, is a bad thing.

Good luck!!!
