Thanks guys. The new controllers look great but late last night I found the LE
in Italy. $200 Wow. So I bought it. What I like most about it is the
ability to control the output of power when tuning an amplifier.

I would use a laptop on WIFI with remote control.. Use the keyboard
shortcuts.

Touch Screens, knobs, Control surfaces, etc. become more appealing in t
practice goes a long way and you won't have to buy any extra hardware to run these terrific radios. I can tune in an off frequency station with the keyboard/mouse combo much faster than I can with any knob. Give it a try.

I've never seen this one mentioned in the reflector. It's nice. A bit
pricy, Not quite as smooth on the VFO main tuning as the Logitech MX mouse,
but nice.

PW-1 amplifier as the 5000 changes bands. But is there a way to turn the
