I'm pretty sure this is covered in the Flex knowledge base.
You have to set up the port(s) under the DSP menu in Power SDR.

I recently installed dx4win and having trouble with cw with my flex 5000a.
The frequency readout works fine. PTT puts the rig in transmit. The vac
channel are setup and work fine with n1mm. No signal to the rig when keyed.

Previously I had been trying to get my logging program, DX4Win ver.
6.0.2, to talk to the SDR. I was somewhat successful in setting the
DX4Win to the TS2000. The programs would talk to each other using Phil,
N8VB's Virtual Serial Port but cpu usage was near 50 %. I have since
