I do not know about com0com but I know that with Eltima's virtual
serial port it doesn't unless you tell it to. There is a setting for
baudrate emulation that does it but I think the defined rate of each
serial port is what is used, so one side can send its traffic at a
different speed than
I think I read, that virtual baud rates such as we would have with com0com are
unimportant.
So do we limit our selves in any way by assigning the Cat Control to the
standard 9600 that most of the black box hardwired com ports ran at?
The same goes for our logging programs, does it really matter
