Hi all,
First a bit of background to this
request:
I am just starting off a thesis project for my
engineering degree, with the task of building a cockpit mockup of a single
engine light aircraft that my university has designed. Something in the same
sort of class as a cessna 172. The aim
Quoth Darrell Walisser:
There is a fairly well-known and officially unresolved inefficiency
in the rendering of small vertex arrays that is particularly painful
on Mac OS X.
Thank you for the reference. I was aware of this and thought I had
checked against the right patches, but apparently
Hi guys!
Maybe you can help me to solve this
problem
I have 3 channels Flightgear on
linuxandFDM computer on windows
I need to write a program to wakeup and shutdown
IGs.
Wakeup is simple you have to setup wake-on-lan and
send magic packet and have to autologin
But how to implement remote
You could have the IGs be always on. By that I mean when the
computer boots, it immediately starts up the FG IG and it is always
running and waiting for packets from the FDM computer.
Another approach I've seen is a front end GUI that runs on the
operator station. It talks to daemons on each
Gidday there,
I need to drive FlightGear visualization from another computer with UDP
messages. Where in the documentation/code can I find the definition of
the data to be sent?
Any URLs appreciated.
thanks

How can I get an older version of the source code for net_fdm.hxx in
version 0.7.9? I can't log on to the cvs at /var/cvs/FlightGear-0.7
any hints?
thanks

I haven't been able to find documentation on what is

Hmmm. I've just taken that bird for a spin, I flew from EDDF to EDDM
at airliner-style
This is probably obvious, but according to my study materials for the
instrument rating, the efficiency of a jet engine depends on the
temperature differential between its combustion and the outside air
temperature -- that's why jets are very efficient flying near the

Has anyone looked at (or at least confirmed) the panel ASI and NAV

I've just found another one -- on aircraft on which the ASI works, the
HUD and ASI readout for IAS don't match -- it seems that the panel ASI
gets multiplied by the IAS/TAS ratio twice. I assume of course that

I've recently watched one of my favourite films called The Big

Thanx Curtis!
Remote startup is clear for me but waht about remote shutdown
SMTP? or else.
I need to create windows program that have two buttons: IGs ON and IGs OFF
What API should I use?
Thanx in advance
