There are facilities available to use REAL (ATC) controllers on line.
I've not done it myself, but both the X-plane and PS-1 sims (see
http://744.hoppie.nl/forum.cgi) are doing this.

http://kingmont.com and ftp://kingmont.com for pictures of it).

Don't recall the specific change in height of the two runway ends, but KMRY
has quite a downslope change toward the West as one real world example.

I saw some information on a display system being
developed, and thought that someone might be interested in seeing if it could be
implemented in flightgear.

I have is from
the National Geographic Society. (see http://www,topo.com for a very
nice program! I use that program with FlightGear acting as a GPS
reciever to get the airplane (simulator) location overlayed on the
chart. A moving map display!!).

So far as I'm aware, there is no support from fgfs nor from project magenta at
this time that allows the project magent instruments to be used with fgfs.
(I keep hoping for it tho!!H I N T ! ! )

This appears to be what happened. The airplane was on an intercept heading, then
when the loc was captured it then turned to the obs heading and departed the loc
(crossing back thru it without actually trying to track it).
I can't comment on the original question of where the correction
Hi John:
How are you doing for help at the show?
Altho not particularly interested in going back there for it, I'd consider doing
so if you are in dire need of help.
(And if I can convince my Wife that she needs a trip to NY.)
