Hi, I'm having the same problem as described in http://baron.flightgear.org/pipermail/terragear-devel/2004-September/001035.html
I know the workaround of editing material.xml, but somehow I refuse to believe that this is the only way. I get the same messages about loading the right texture files but for some reason unknown to me it is not known. In the referenced thread it was mentionned that this could be due to the scenery loading code being broken. Did anything move in that area?
