Hi there,
I am fairly new to flightgear and there are two subjects I would like to get
involved into.
I am a 3D modeller for Strike Fighters : Project 1 (check out
http://www.column5.us, there is a F/A-18 model I made) using blender.
I am willing to build many models for FlightGear but I can s

OK, so I have this nice static radio tower model in Jon's DB, but it
replaces a shared object (two actually, since there are two antennas on
the tower, and therefore two entries).
Now, how do I tell whoever is installing this stuff which objects to
remove? Assuming that the exact locations and alt

I've packaged up the latest JSBSim code into 0.9.10 (Pre-v1.0). It is
available in the Files section of www.sf.net/projects/jsbsim.
There are executables built for several versions of Linux: i386, PPC, AMD64.
There is a Win32 executable. Simplot is available there for Win32. The
source archive is
I'd be happy to submit the config, however, getting the config (I don't
think) is my problem.
I have an xml file that worked in 0.9.8. My problem is getting 0.9.9 to
load the combatstick.xml file (apparently).

IIRC only the first has a pre-defined config in the fg cvs.
I suggest you clone the CH yoke config file, and modify it
accordingly. Or, just do a fresh start with "fgjs" and start
with the js1.xml file it generates for your combatstick.
When you have a good
Actually, this does not seem to be working correctly.
I have two products connected:
CH PRO PEDALS USB
CH COMBATSTICK USB
In my joystick config xml file I have (inside the PropertyList tag)
CH PRODUCTS CH COMBATSTICK USB
CH COMBATSTICK USB
The system seems to recognize the pedals, but not

i compile it on amd64; debian version 4.0.3 20060104 (prerelease).
stand alone JSBSim
Has anyone tried compiling the newest CVS FlightGear with a 64 bit machine?
I can't get JSBSim to compile under a 64 bit OS (the Sourceforge compile
farm Alpha).

that is a pretty common practice with configuration software. The
problem is the stuff it took out.
And to add insult to injury, the idea of persistent configuration
changes is good, but it looks like I can

I can make a joystick configuration file for my joystick, no problem. How
do I get Flightgear to reference it?
I thought, in 0.9.8, that there was a joys
