I installed the precompiled Slack FlightGear 0.9.10 package last weekend.
Most things work fine, except for the rather important fgrun frontend.
FlightGear itself runs flawless but fgrun refuses to show the list of
airplanes and even crashes with a nasty segmentation fault wh
