Fltk 1.2 tree is abadoned. If there is a continuation of 1.x
development, it should be based on 1.1.8 tree to which utf-8 stuff can
be applied. If naming it 1.2 would cause too much confusion, the new ABI
incompatible versions could be named 1.3.x

FLTK-1.1.8 will sometimes be released I'd guess and of course welcome.
Fascinatingly the utf-8 version is following close. Now that I used utf-8
in some of the applications I try to maintain, it would be of great help
to have the UTF-8 version distributed.
