It seems I cannot comment on a closed bug, so it'll have to be this way. I have tested the default font on Windows 2003, OS X 10.6, Fedora 14 and RHEL 6. The character in question is part of codepage 1252 (and as a result very popular in HTML). It is also the character used by every other modern t
