I am very happy to see the new FluidRelease.
I am try to compile FluidSynth with Visual Studio.
I am checkout sourcecode and download and extract glib.
I open project. I specify GLIB include path in Additional Include
Directories(Configuration Properties C/C++) in Visual studio (for
fluids

I find halving the sample rate works a treat on NetBooks as this
reduces the work load but it also has the side effect of doubling the
latency. the -r 22050 only seems to work with the plughw:0 as the
default alsa device does not accept the reduced sample rate.
