The invitation is to make and send a postcard, or something/anything postable (MAILart) but approximately about postcard sizeish please: * To do with the entrance to where you live or work, say the gate, door, whatever a photograph, a map, a collage, a drawing, a poem, whatever! * Note and celebrate! something really silly about this entrance there just has to be something, really there does like the SILLYthings that have happened there or nearby, SILLYpeople who have passed through it, SILLYstories that belong either side of this entranceš, etc.! * Think about just how silly it is and then give it a score between 1 & 10 10 being extraordinarily SILLY * Send your POSTcard/MAILart for display in Launceston during worldSILLYweek 2004 * Your worldSILLYweek 2004 contribution will be documented deposited with a public collection Please put an eMail address on your contribution you will be kept in the loop about what happens!!! Any technique is allowed and contributions to the project must be sent to us via prepaid postageš. The invitation is made worldwide in accordance with the usual mail art terms. There will be NO jury, NO selection, NO fee and NO returns. After worldSILLYweek, all works received will be kept in the archives of a public collection in Launceston.
