the sonics!! we played a 'psycho/louie
louie/wild thing/etc' medlay just last evening followed by clash city rockers
and the stones' 'the last time'.
first time in the rehearsal rooms for 2 years or so

we lived in a commune in brentwood in essex. they
lived in nearby Ongar. Penny Rimbaud (jeremy ratter)
was a bit of an old hippy really and they kept goats
and collected herbs and made jam

oh yes i remember Crass! as you say theywere kind of a wild mix of hippiedom and punkdowm and did many tracts very interesting takes on anarchism--that came with the albums--
