I've been following FOP now for around 9 months and although I am not
commercially using it anymore (thanks dot com crash), I am still
interested in its development. I've been posting a few bug fixes on

First comment: it's always encouraging to see the generally high level
of discussion on fop-dev, especially when serious issues are involved!
At least for the moment, we are certainly not into flame wars over the
redesign.
Being one of the people who started this ball rolling, I feel obligated

I'm just a user of FOP and I haven't looked at FOP from the
perspective of a developer so far, so I can't comment on whether a
rewrite is needed and all that. What I can do, is to share some
experience from Ant over at Jakarta-land with you.

Does somebody know how to change font (font-family) in object from
fox:namespace?
Can I use another way to create bookmarks?
Thanks

Putting aside all the business/open source issues (as interesting as it
might be).
What we really need to do is work out exactly what we are trying to achieve
and when. Then to figure out how to do it. ie. we need to have a good plan
to keep moving forwards in the long term.
