Easy please. Vincent has a preference. Jeremias is OK with it, but he
is not hot about it, so he is not going to do it. Vincent did not add
the new utilities, so he is not going to do it. That leaves Andreas to
do it, or me, or ..., or it remains undone. Fortunately, that would
not create a mess.

There’s another problem: the missing glyph message is displayed twice
for every missing glyph. This isn’t the case with FOP 0.95beta.

These are part of the command-line interface which must interface with

- invalid param usage: use -param
- you must specify the number of copies
- value must be a positive integer
- the USAGE messages
And probably others.

Hi,
A few comments:
- some time ago I created a BreakUtil class in the o.a.f.util package.
I think this class and KeepUtil should be put in the same place.
Perhaps we could even merge them into a unique KeepsAndBreaksUtil
class. I don’t really know what the best place would be. I put it in
Hi
I updated my sandbox to include the processing-feedback changes, and
after running 'ant clean', I got the following when running target
resourcegen:
resourcegen:
[mkdir] Created dir: /Developer/javatools/xml-fop/build/codegen-classes
[javac] Compiling 3 source files to /Developer/javato
Hmm, I don't see any relevant ones.

Hi Jeremias,
why don't you use the new processing feedback mechanism for the
notifications we can find in the code below?

Hmm, I cannot reproduce that. The command-line mentions missing fonts to
me. I don't expect differences between the font substitution warning and
the "auto table" warning.
C:\Dev\FOP\main\trunk-clean>fop -fo helloworld.fo -pdf out.pdf

Damn, my fault this time. I had some unfinished changes in the
RTF code in the same working copy. Fixed now.

Jeremias,
When I specify an unknown font family in my FO file and launch FOP with
the command line it no longer warns me that the font was substituted
with “any,normal,400”. Is that to be expected?
I get the other warnings (auto table layout unsupported, for example) as
usual, though.
Thanks,
Vin
Interesting. In fact, while svnmerge is (IMO) a wonderful tool for
keeping a temporary branch in sync with the Trunk, its behaviour seems
to be more erratic when it comes to merging back that branch into the
Trunk. Good to know for the future.
Thanks for the details,
Vincent
