That's right. We don't currently have any infrastructure to give hints to FOP that an image is one used once and could therefore be inlined. Hi, Am I right in thinking that images are always rendered into PDF as Image XObjects, and never as inline images (section 4.8.6 of the PDF Reference, Third Edition)? Thanks, Vincent
