for your help.

It's basically an unimplemented feature and does only work (to some
extent) for images and table rows. If you really need to set the

You're out of luck. The snapshots represent the development code for the
upcoming FOP 1.0. You need to download the code from CVS. I've just
updated the information on the download page, but it'll take a while
until the changes will be online.

I meant to say that IE seems to have security which won't allow Acrobat
PDFs to close the browser, not just pages. I think it may actually be
that it won't allow ActiveX/plugins to close the browser window.

Is it when you try to close using "Ctrl+W" or when you click the "Close"
box [x]? From my experience, Internet Explorer has some type of security
stuff which won't allow pages to close the browser. For some reason it
thinks "Ctrl+W" is similar. Try clicking the Close box or hitting the

Sounds like you need a typical ms solution,
reboot, if problem continues, format your drive and reinstall.
Hopefully someone else has a better idea.

Two suggestions:
1) Try opening the PDF with Acrobat Reader independent of IE and see if
that works OK.
2) Install Mozilla. ;)

Anyone have an idea as to what would cause the height attribute to be

I have a problem since I try to run my PDF renderer servlet under BEA

I get a document which length is set to 0 at my client browser.
I've tried to set the log level to DEBUG, and I just got this :
