I am using the block container element to keep together a few blocks. But
when I generate my PDF nothing seems to display. Is this a problem of fop or
is it anything else?

You could send the fixed xml from your customer through an xsl, which
outputs a new xml structure. Then send the output to FOP.

I read in the documentation that a block-container is only limited
implemented. What does this mean? How does it behave in different
situations? Can anybody give me a clue.
