Thanks for the help,
What we have done in this instance is by using some other java code and
another product to read the PDF and make that into a PS stream that is sent
to the printer. The reason for doing this is so we don't have to run the FOP
process twice, i.e. once for the PDF (which the user

If your question is "how to get the content indented in XSLFO", then
look at the start-indent property
http://www.w3.org/TR/xsl/xslfo/slice
Thanks for the info,
I would like to assist you with the development of the RTF component to
address this, but I have no Java skills, how hard would this be to change in
the existing code. I think it would be a good exercise for me to get
involved, but I am not sure if I would be a good candidate.
Maybe a bug. The question is: Whose bug? Control words for text-align
get generated but they don't seem to have any effect in MS Word 2003
Viewer. However, if I open the generated RTF file in WordPad, the
content is properly aligned. I tried to manually alter the RTF file to
make the content align
Please post the FO file, not the product. With the RTF file, it's a
little difficult to reproduce what you got.

I'm creating an RTF using fop 0.9.
I've seen that with PDF the content of a table-cell is exactly in the
middle. But with RTF the content of table-cell is left aligned.
I ensure you that I put text-algni="center" in the block, in the inline, in
the table-cell
Probably a bug?

That works for most renderers, but as Jeremias said this relies on
page-reference-citation which has not yet been implemented for RTF.

Yes, there is. Define the styles with:

Unfortunately, that doesn't work since page-number-citation hasn't been
implemented for RTF output, yet.

I've just fixed a bug that caused the RTF handler to miss the before and
after regions if they don't have the standard names:
http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs?rev=372214&view=rev
If you can't use FOP Trunk from Subversion, you can use the standard
names ("xsl-region-before" and "xsl-region-after") fo
