I am using fop 0.93 and I would like to use the quiet mode
so as not to have all these debugs in my console.

3 years ago a colloeague of mine stated a problem regarding FOP
generated PDF Files. It was about problems with letter spacing. Also see

When you run the XSL-FO through the free Apache FOP engine which can be
downloaded and plugged into XMLSpy, the validation is done on the transform by
the engine itself.

If I want to use a font other than the Base 14 and I embed it in the
PDF that I generate from xsl-fo with FOP 0.93, I am successfully able
to access that font in the text of the PDF.
But if I have that font installed on my Mac OS X system, I think I
should be able to use that font in the PD
