metric files are deprecated with recent FOP releases. You don't neet
them if you want to embed fonts, witch is the common way.
Note also that the config schema as widely changed since FOP 0.2.x;
there were many issues in the past when upgrading from 0.2.x.

Don't bother supplying XSL/XML input files. Preprocess them into an XSL-FO
file and then send it (and test with it), otherwise the XSL/XML files are
just noise.
Also, make sure you are using Unicode code points for the greek characters,
e.g., #x0370; through #x03ff;. Also, don't bother with FOP
/kith_sample_1.xml

Have tried FreeSans, although it has some minor errors with the accented Greek
characters. It also displays ###.

Hello,
I try to print Greek characters with FOP 0.95, but apparently only the first
page (ANSI) seems to be accessible. The Greek characters are located in the
second page (after 255) of the character set.
They are displayed as .
Use userconfig.xml, and was advised to remove the metrics
the alpha character (#x3b1;)

but i still get a '#'. What am i doing wrong? I tried adding
font-style=normal,
but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
