Could there be another cause for this error? I get the same. I am running
on latest katello master, foreman develop, foreman_ansible master.
I confirmed that I can run ansible-playbook against the host as the vagrant
user if I specify "remote_user: root" in the playbook that includes the
role. I
Thank you. Both the workaround and the PR are working great for me.

for " in Task monitor of katello.
They are all running up to 25% and thats it. They do not get into error
state, they are still running since several hours.
Any idea which task do they start and why they can not

I submitted a patch for this a while ago at
https://github.com/Katello/katello/pull/6541 but it seems like it hasn't

This looks like http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/18278, try
changing the verbosity level to 1.
I will release a patch
The initrd Images on the tftp are not compatible to the wished installing
instance. I've deleted them manually from my tftp server and let them

Hi all,
we have configured foreman to build a new host with the following steps:
1. using discovery during boot
2. provision to hostgroup via foreman GUI
3. Using PXE boot with a Kickstart PXELinux template
4. Running provisioning template after PXE boot
These steps works well, but the finish
