I'm sure that hosts can see each other, I'm seeing logs both on client and
server.
I suppose It is a problem of 'computation'.

For various reasons, unless it has recently changed, CentOS doesn't publish
errata. There are a few different ways to get some put in through 3rd
party sources, but as far as I know you'll never see any errata out of the
box. A quick google search for 'centos errata' will have a lot more
details.
