I have built the 2.2.0 beta release of Conary on fl:2-devel and on
fl:2-qa directly (to make sure it is compatible with the rest of
fl:2-qa right now).  I have not rebuilt groups on either label;
I'll leave that to António. This first beta of the 2.2 series
contains several changes from the previous build.

It no longer puts every local changeset on its own line in the
model; that was useful long ago but is confusing and potentially
wrong now.

It should now refuse to apply any update that would leave you with
references in your model to local troves that no longer exist.
We do not know of cases where that will actually happen without
hand-editing your system-model file; I suspect that if you get into
this case with just conary command line operations, those cases
would be bugs. But I like the check to avoid getting your system
model into a dead end.

Conary now tells you if the update you propose wouldn't actually
modify the system; for instance, if you do "conary update foo"
when some part of foo is already installed in the earlier parts
of the model.

Simplification (removing no-op cases from the model) has been
improved, and bugs have been fixed.

The man page has been updated with more information on system model,
particularly as an attempt to summarize the salient points from
discussion on this mailing list and on IRC.
