If you plan on using PackageKit you should put it in
`/etc/conary/config.d

I can't confirm that bug with a T61 with Intel x3100 - other than having to
install in text mode, and the one bug I had trying to enable Compiz (which
hasn't happened since), this build is running fine on my T61.

this is tricky, to solve, in a general way. for several reasons.
a quick glance at the xorg ML will show that upstream is, well, tricky.
Can you fill a bug with your xorg.conf and contents of /var/log/xorg.*
attached to it?.
i'd almost swear that we have ppl with t61/x3100 with current FL running

This should be fixed now
This may or may not be relevant: While I have not tried the new iso, I
can report that my T61 w/intel X3100 hangs the X session (and in
particular the input framework) before it can show the background image
and GDM w/-qa (updated packages two days ago). This happens w/both

Antonio/Ken: can we get it fixed please?
Thanks,

Anaconda still doesn't recognize an Intel x3100 video card, and you have to
install in text mode (it's been that way since I bought this laptop a year
and a half ago). If you install in text mode, you get Grub, and I didn't
see a choice for Syslinux.
Upon first logging in and trying to enable Des
I'll install x86_64 on intel tonight.
I'll help with release notes, but I need to understand some of the comments
around changing what has been done before (please start a new thread).
Thanks.

No worries. I have played with x86_64/nVidia but want to find the time
to test x86/Intel

Two things I'd *really* like to see get fixed prior to releasing a new version:
* Add the volume control applet back in the systray
** When you boot there is no volume applet anymore
* Make sure the sound is enabled by default
** It is disabled, and worse, it resets to being disabled on reboot

fl:2-qa is a preliminary stage to whatever goes to fl:2. so it makes
sense that it 'acts' as fl:2 (as it will be a straight promote to it
later).

I updated all packages from fl:2 to fl:2-qa and then changed my
/etc/conary/config.d/foresight to use *2-qa* labels.

So I installed the x86_64 image and right off the bat had issues with
my Xorg not working with the regular nv driver. As I have a dual
monitor setup
