Ok shrishti, try doing this,
put this in your init2 string in your wvdial.conf file.
*at+fclass=0;at+crm=2;at$qcmdr=3;*
Next what you do is, while dialing, pick your handset up, i mean make sure
there is a dialtone audible in the handset before you dial. I know this
sounds funny, but works for me

A LTSP Training of Trainers session was conducted for IOEians. The training
took place at "Brihaspati Vidya Sadan, Naxal" in the FOSS Training &
Research Centre.
The session was attended by 24 students of 1st year to 3rd year.
