creating really good, I must admit, theme for Gnome is not enough to
fight windows, which already dies anyway, because of mobile devices
and drift to the low-power and ARM's CPUs in laptop segment. =)

I guess that is what government is trying to promote here too right
regarding CFL light bulb. It even gets printed on the electricity bill
:) I heard from the month "magh" if you buy a CFL you get another one

LED light bulbs are great alternates but for low intensity lighting
purpose only
In the UK, the government is stopping use of traditional incedescent light
bulbs (i.e. normal bayonet or screw in light bulbs) and making the
population use energy saving bulbs by 2011. An energy saving bulb at at 11W
is just as good as an 60W bulb. That's about an 80% in electricity savings
in cos
I know lots of engineers and dsigners are over here.
How about we popolate a FOSS design of a backup computer power supply
/ home lighting system with investnent ~10,000 Rs ?
