finally things went good. i am now posting this reply from the
wireless cdma modem on my laptop.
but, would have been fun if i could use my laptop to call and send sms
using the CDMA R-UIM which i am using to surf only...
(it is possible in windows using the setup that came along the modem)

Thats it abish, you should be on to the internet, because that is all that
needs to happen before you can go wireless.
