Hi, I am still having problem in connecting my CDMA modem for internet connection in ubuntu 8.10. I tried both the following links: http://wiki.ubuntu.org.np/UsingCDMAModem abish.wordpress.com/2008/04/18/using-cdma-wireless-modem-in-ubuntu
But my CDMA phone is connected to my computer's COM1 through serial cable and not USB cable. I have tried the command "wvdialconf" in the terminal but it says modem not detected! Please somebody give a solution to this .Help!!
