I have `gpg' installed on my system. when doing `fsl branch new branchname
basis' (and only then) I'm prompted by `gpg' for my phassphrase. why is
this happening and how can I turn this off? am I missing something?
I'm quite sure that this passphrase query was not issued until some months

`fossil settings' tells me right now: `clearsign' is not explicitly
set one way or other. I am prompted for the gpg passphrase just the
