Hi Khammer, FOSSology 1.0 is no longer supported and was replaced by the nomos analyzer in 1.2.0. The latest supported release is 1.2.1 (http://fossology.org/release_notes#critical_bug_fix_release_for_1.2). Please update to the latest supported release.
BTW, you may not have your Proxy set correctly if you are trying to upload from URL using an address outside of your local network. The proxy is specified in the file Proxy.conf (see http://fossology.org/file_locations). Hi, I have installed Fossology 1.0.0.0 on Ubuntu 9.10 and it is working absolutely fine. When I analyze a single file with Fossology it is working fine, giving up the reports, results, license etc. Now I have few problems in which I need help regarding. When I run a group of files, I couldnt get the proper results and reports. 1) With the option "From the URL" I pointed to the Fossology to the Source folder in the server and it took more than 1 day and still says it is scheduled but never run.. 2) So I downloeded the files to the local system and used the option "From the server", The files are uploaded but couldnt see the files reports and results under "Browse". Only with the option "From the File", I can locate a single file and can get the result and report. But this is not practically possible because the source code is very huge(1GB) to place the each file and get the result.. Even if it is done through the CD, the capacity should be less than 650MB. I tried zipping few files and analyzed it but it showed the Invalid format files and also the license. Please check for the attachment.! Can you please help me in analysing all the files which are present in the server..? Thanks, Khammer. Please do not print this email unless it is absolutely necessary.
