Along Keegan's idea about encouraging contributions in the reader's
native language, does Wikimedia track the preset language of visitors?
I know some analytics packages do, not sure if this is against
Wikimedia's privacy policies.

Once again our yearly fundraising banners are here. It seem to be working
well however we should also inviting people to edit. My logic is this:
1) We invite people to edit
2) This increases the quality of our content
3) Improved quality increases readership
4) Increased readership increases donat

We're actually still figuring out the right way to use the centralnotice for
advertising events. We're concerned about not overwhelming particular events,
but also with making sure that the word gets out - it's a bit of a balancing
act.

Can I make a humble suggestion about the banners, and some other things.
on my slow computer, the banner takes a while to load, and when i click on
the page the click lands on the banner.
I dont mind looking at the banner, but I do mind that i click on it all the
time by accident,
