the extreme one can move entire words to another line, for example. Then one
can come to the rescue and provide tech support to the person who is having
difficulty editing the document.

You might also want to know that Alt + the Home key on Windows returns
the text to its original position. You certainly don't want to have to
save as MIF to figure out how to reverse your actions! I can't remember

(FREE) to set the OffsetVertical and OffsetHorizontal character style
properties if you want to save the positioning as part of the character
style.

I hope I didn't make it sound in my post that MIF is required. I just
wanted to point out that you can use the MIF to create an importable
fragment that applies the setting you need.
