Hello, I had asked this earlier too but none responded. I repeat my query. I am using FM 7.0 on Windows. Want to switch to UNIX. Is the Installer same for both the OS or do I need to order for a separate FM for UNIX? Response will be appreciated. Regards Jaya

Please, what is the current standard for online help? Is this now built into FrameMaker? Can I use 7.0 or do I need 7.2? I've heard that RoboHelp is on its way out. If I develop a rather large doc (~200pgs) in Robo, will I be sorely outdated? Thanks, Sue

There isn't a standard anything for online help. Depends on your application, OS, and your inclinations. You may want to review http://hat-matrix.com/ for ideas. My own preference is to single source in FM and output to OmniHelp or HTML help through omsys.com's MIF2Go plug-in. Other people

In theory, there should be no reason why Acrobat 5 (hopefully updated to Acrobat 5.0.5 - get the update on Adobe's web site at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1platform=W indows) should not work directly with Acrobat 5 unless you are using the save as PDF feature. I
