Hello Frame Experts,   I'm hoping someone can kindly help with me with an error message that is causing PDF file generation failure when using FrameMaker 7.x for Windows and Acrobat Distiller 7.0.   The error occurred after the addition of some .png graphics in the FrameMaker source file.

I have found that when using a numbering stream it is best to put ALL placeholders in. Therefore your formats should read: H1 A:$chapnum.n+ =0 =0 H2 A:$chapnum.n.n+ =0 H3 A:$chapnum.n.n.n+ Additionally, ensure that you haven't used this number stream with the desginator (in my example A:) in

Hi Robert, There is an autonumbered paragraph between the two that is resetting one of the numbers. The easiest way to try to fix this is to add a series label to the H1, H2, and H3 autonumbers. A series label is a single letter followed by a colon; for example, - H1 - H:<$chapnum>.
