Hi All,
I am using Frame 8 and I would like to take advantage of the wild card
search functionality. For example, I discovered that I could strip out
empty paragraph tags by using \P\p. Unfortunately, I have not been able to
find much documentation about this feature.
This leads me to the follo

The Frame search (wild card) feature is based upon grep. It's not a
real implementation, or a full implementation in any stretch of the
imagination. It's not fully documented as a search engine because
it's only a small feature of the program.
However, if you spend sometime studying how grep wo
Thanks Stuart - I've received two offline suggestions along these lines and
am looking at it right now!
Thanks for all the on- and off-line responses!

I need to use a slate blue color in a manual I'm creating -- rules
and heading text. But no matter what color model I specify in

If I understand your production cycle correctly, there may be an easier
way than moving files around and tweaking your .book structure. I do
something similar where I generate 2 books (call them A and B) from a
set of common chapter files. I use a combination of two .book files

I have used Resource Hacker with Frame 6 and 8 to resize various dialog
boxes, including the cross reference dialog. It's a very useful tool.
And, yes, back up the fmdlg.dll before messing with it. Just in case!
Let me know if you need any help with this.
Cheers
Dave
