FrameMaker (samples/overview/book).

I can confirm this (German version) for List Of References as well as
Index of References. TO
IMO it is perfectly appropriate. FrameMaker is often a requirement for a good
job, and a job that does not require FrameMaker may be a really bad fit for a
writer who has used FrameMaker for a long time.

perhaps the only common venue many of us have to discuss our Frame related
issues, especially for lone writers. So any useful links

the recent file information in maker.ini placed in user area. Pls. try the
following:
1. Delete maker.ini from the user area.
2 .Launch FrameMaker. This will copy maker.ini from install directory to user
area

- FM8: PDF okay; font: Avant-Garde - transition version
- FM9: PDF NOT okay; font: Times! - Times is a Type 1 font. FM9 does
not like Type 1. Change to Type II or Open Type ttf.

like to find them and do a replace that inserts a paragraph (i.e., a
blank line) before the table.

are aware of the bugs in FM9 and the patch that Adobe has released.
Does anyone know whether Adobe is applying the patch to FM9 for TCS before
